  My experience with the manager. If I had it to do over again I would not have buried my mom here. The manager there is not respectful of family members he serves. My mom Joyce Davis died with cancer back on April 26 of this year. I had meet with the manager at Henry Memorial Park a few weeks before her death and told him my mom had cancer and was not going to live much longer. I explained to him I was her daughter and I was executor of her will. When my mom passed a few weeks later I spoke with the manager several times before she was buried and after I informed him that I was purchasing my mom's headstone online myself he send me a three page letter detailing how wrong it was for me to take this into my own hands and do. He also sent my sister the same letter and both my mom's sisters pushing me to change my mind and buy my mom's headstone from him. The day of my mom's funeral I was handed all these letters at the funeral home by my family. Now I have ordered my mom's headstone online and it is prettier then most at Henry Memorial, it is granite and has her picture on at and I only paid $800.00 for it. I saved my family about $800.00 from buy online myself. Now back to the letter the manager send me and send that letter to the head office over how disrespectful this manager was to my family and was promised he would be let go. No family should have to deal with someone who seems to only care about a sale and not the family. Well, I was lied too. I called this week to find out what size stone I could put in and who did my husband speak too, that same manager who send those letters out to everyone he had addresses for. You may wonder how he had the addresses will my grandparents are buried up there and he had the addresses on file of my grandparents children. If I had to money I would have my mom moved because it is plain to me they just don't care about the families who do not buy their costly headstones because they are not making a dollar off it. I would tell anybody looking at this park to bury their loved one to go somewhere else even if it cost more because my experience with this park is and has been the worst thing I have had to deal with. I cared for my mom the last 8 months of her life everyday so for some graveyard manager to send me and my family letters I am mad and fired up but what is the worst of this all is he can do another family the same way and nobody seems to care. So think twice before you put someone you love at Henry Memorial Park.
